The Rise of the National Security State
The Rise of the National Security State
by Sean Kane
We recently recorded a Podcast Episode with author Rick Otto, look for it to be published sometime in April. Rick is the author of several fine books on this subject. Our discussion with Rick started after WWII up until the time when John F Kennedy takes office as President of the United States. We set the stage for the 800-pound gorilla known as the National Security State that JFK will be left to deal with. From there, the discussion turns to what Rick called another "Civil War," where the Kennedy wing of the Democratic part was under attack by the Intelligence community as he referenced the assassinations of the 1960's. The leadership of this wing of the party was basically "decapitated with the Assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr., Robert F. Kennedy, and Freddie Hampton.
Rick discussed Operation Sunrise, and Operation Paperclip, and of course, one name known to our podcasts as an all-purpose bad guy comes up, and that is Allen Dulles. Dulles would take part in secret negotiations with the Nazi's as he tried to arrange a surrender without the approval of a US President, which Dulles does, and has no problem attempting on numerous occasions. Dulles would then arrange for Nazi Scientists and war criminals to be brought over and put into NASA to help with the space program and others into the intelligence community. Dulles would arrange for a former Nazi security Chief to attend Yankee baseball games on taxpayer dollars, and four former Nazi's would later be awarded the NASA Distinguished Service Medal including Wernher Von Braun.
From there, we discuss the National Security Act of 1947, which created the CIA and merged the Department of Army, Navy, and Air Force. It also created the position of Secretary of Defense and established the National Security Council. Dulles would turn what was supposed to be a central gathering of data agency into an International Killing machine, conducting regime changes all over the world using trained black operators, Nazi war criminals, The mafia, and even terrorists.
We next discussed subjects that are relevant to current events today, like The Chinese Civil War and the Nationalists retreating to Taiwan. Also, the Korean invasion of the South by the North. We talked about the fear of communist Russia, which lead to the creation of NATO. Other important regime changes are discussed, like Indonesia, the Congo, Iran, and Guatemala. Rick would also talk about how the media ties into the Intelligence community with Operation Mockingbird and about the censorship going on even today.
This is a very important podcast because it was a discussion that links the past to events going on today. It is truly amazing how Allen Dulles's name continually comes up in these conversations. He is in the middle of everything. Even after Kennedy fired him, he still had power and control on the intelligence community. This Podcast was an amazing discussion about events and situations that the public needs to know. Allen Dulles may be long gone, but his ghost haunts us to this very day.
