The Seeds of a Conspiracy!
On this week's episode of That's Enough Outta You Podcast, Lisa Pease returns to Talk about Allen Dulles's Day Calendar. One of the more intriguing meetings that Dulles had prior to JFK's assassination was in the summer of 1963 when he met with Army General Lucius Clay and anti-Castro Cuban rebel Sierra Martinez.
In the coming weeks we will have an episode on the Berlin Wall Crisis with a special guest. JFK believed Berlin was a far more important strategic place than Vietnam was. Berlin was the only place where Soviet and US tanks faced off one another in a potential trigger to a nuclear war. JFK asked Clay to return to Germany as a special advisor and Clay did everything he could do to escalate the situation. JFK ,as we know, was a peace President who looked for every opportunity to avoid sending troops off to war. JFK was especially cautious of any escalation that could lead to Nuclear war.
Clay would later say that JFK not taking his advice in Berlin led to Nikita Khrushev having the confidence to put missiles in Cuba leading to the Cuban Missile Crisis. Basically, Clay did not see JFK as a hero saving the world from nuclear annihilation but rather a President who put his country in danger of being overrun by the Soviet Union. Months ago, we had an episode about the Cuban Missile Crisis and I stated my opinion that I believed the seeds to the JFK assassination Conspiracy went into motion after the Cuban Missile crisis.
This leads us to the all-important meeting with Clay, Dulles and Martinez, months before JFK was gun down in Dallas. Martinez had ties to Chicago and Miami which we now know are two cities where prior plots to kill JFK were in motion. Martinez was basically a Bautista Cuban Assassin. What possible reason would Clay and Dulles have to meet with this man ? I remind you at the time, both Clay and Dulles were retired from the army and the CIA. Dulles was actually fired by JFK and had no job at the time. While the Dulles Day Calendar is a map leading to some of the answers of the Holy Grail of Conspiracies, I still believe this Meeting between Clay, Dulles and Martinez is one of the most important in the History of the United States. The downward trajectory of history could have been placed in motion that day!
