Hollywood is at it again ! SMH

    So, I hear that AL Pacino will be in an upcoming movie about how Chicago Gangster Sam Giancana masterminded the assassination of President John F. Kennedy because Giancana rigged the 1960 election in his favor. This is a complete lie that has been debunked so many times it is getting old and tiresome already. Sam Giancana was never at any time in history, the boss of the Outfit in Chicago. He was a front boss or street Boss. Tony Accardo and Paul Ricca ran Chicago for over 50 years and Giancana reported to them. He would have no authority or the power to rig a presidential election or mastermind the assassination of a President. Tony Accardo, the real boss of Chicago, would later kick Giancana out of the outfit and banish him from the country to Mexico. That does not sound like an all powerful boss capeable of rigging elections and assassinating Presidents.

In 1960 Cosa Nostra as an organization was backing Richard Nixon for President NOT JFK. Carlos Marcello, the Boss of New Orlean's Mafia and Jimmy Hoffa, the Boss of the Teamsters Union were extremely vocal in their support of Nixon. Nixon’s mob ties ran deep and long. In Nixon’s first run for Congress in 1946, he received a $5k donation from LA Jewish gangster Mickey Cohen. Cohen would also go on to set up many fundraising dinners for Nixon’s future campaigns. Cohen would tell people his support of Nixon was a request from back east by Jewish gangster Meyer Lansky and Genovese Boss Frank Costello. Nixon’s best friend Bebe Rebozo was very close to mob bosses Santos Traficante and Bill Bonanno. Edward Partin, a teamster official turned government informant said Jimmy Hoffa secretly met with Carlos Marcello to fund the 1960 Nixon campaign. Marcello had a suitcase of 500k and another suitcase of 500k from Mafia leaders in New York, New Jersey and Florida for Nixon Campaign contributions. This meeting between Hoffa and Marcello took place on September 26,1960 and was verified in an FBI report signed off by William Sullivan. It is no wonder that most of the information trying to tie the Kennedys to the Mafia can be traced back to hatchet men of Nixon. This was Nixon’s way of distracting, deflecting and trying to place blame on the Kennedys for his sins.

I have no doubt this movie will be entertaining because Pacino always is however, the entire plotline is based on a lie that is told over and over. I wonder if the people funding this film have any ties to Langley ? Hmmm, Food for thought!
