The JFK Assassination: Why It Still Matters Today!
On the That's Enough Outta You podcast, we recently interviewed authors David Talbot and later Dr. Greg Poulgrain. The most important thing I took from both interviews is the negative effect from the events of November 22, 1963, that is still impacting events around the world to this day. The assassination of John F. Kennedy took this country and the world in a negative direction. Also, the ramifications from the actions of Allen Dulles's CIA operations have contributed to much of the world problems we see today. CIA coups in places like Iran and Guatemala, where they overthrew democratically elected officials, are still impacting those countries today and fueling the hate towards Americans. In Indonesia, the genocide and massacre of the PKI (The Communist party of Indonesia), who were mainly peasants, would not have happened had JFK lived and visited Jakarta in 1964.
Allen Dulles was a true evil genius. His master plans to conceal the discovery of gold in Indonesia and widen the Sino-Soviet split was so masterfully designed that it took years of work by brilliant researchers like Dr. Poulgrain to realize what was actually done. The CIA and the United States mainstream media hailed the events in Iran and Indonesia as great successes however the reality is one was a massacre of innocent people (Indonesia) and the other (Iran) led to hostile events like the hostage crisis in 1979.
So many other places like Africa, the Middle East and Vietnam went in a negative direction after Kennedy was killed, along with policies like advancement of Civil Rights, the Federal Reserve and control of pharmaceutical companies. When people ask why the Kennedy Assassination matters today, just tell them look around the world and pick a spot, any spot. The ghost of Allen Dulles still hovers over us like a dark cloud that is always in the sky, rain or shine.
