How would JFK fit today?

One of our most loyal podcast listeners, Angelo “Big Ang” Mariucci recently asked us, How JFK would fit today? Would he be a republican? Would he be a moderate democrat. Would he be as popular today as he was as president? This is such a great question with so many layers and so much to unpack.

I believe that John F. Kennedy’s leadership would be received well by the people in any Era in history. JFK does not resemble any of today’s politicians in either party. I do not believe at all that JFK today would be a republican and there is no democrat today that has JFK’s leadership and backs his policies.

JFK was a radical and a shock to the system. His foreign policy is different from every politician since. HE took on the big pharmaceutical companies and went around the FDA. He took on the Federal Reserve, the power elite, the CIA and the Military industrial complex like no other has tried to. He stood up for Civil Rights and went against many in his own party especially in the south. JFK was a peace President who avoided war at all costs.

I believe most politicians today understand that there is a line that they cannot cross or they will meet a similar fate like Kennedy did on November 22, 1963. The one thing I do know, is that the world today could desperately use a JFK!
